The blog opens for business Wednesday morning May 10, 2006. It will continue until noon, Monday, May 15, 2006. Anyone in the Mellon Forum community can participate. Those who were in Cleveland are primary participants. Those who weren't are invited to post comments to the blog. Every evening while the blog is active, all members of the Mellon community will get an email summarizing the conversation so far.

Post as often as you want, feel free to jump into the conversation wherever you want. Be controversial (how will things change if you aren't?). Be daring. Is there another Elephant in the room? One request and one rule: The request is that you don't write essays. This is meant to be a conversation. Try to confine your post to a single point or issue. If you've got three different things you want to say, think about splitting hem up into different posts. The interaction will flow better and more people will read what you have to say. The Rule: No personal attacks. Criticism is fine, but let's try not to make it personal.
